Six Types Of Insider Threats
Take an interactive tour of 6 real nation-state and advanced persistent threats. No matter what approach they took to breach the perimeter defense. Once they gain a foothold, a defender needs security measures to identify these insiders quickly enough before they can reach their objectives.

Six Threats. One Theme.
Modern cyber threats are increasingly operating from within trusted networks, often using legitimate credentials, compromised systems, or authorized access to bypass traditional security controls. This interactive demonstration from Nodal Technologies examines six threat scenarios, including North Korean IT worker infiltration, the Sliver command-and-control framework, JadePupffer, AI-driven lateral movement, Salt Typhoon, and insider threats. Each scenario demonstrates how an adversary can establish a presence within an environment and use existing network access to move between systems, access sensitive resources, and conduct malicious operations without relying on a traditional external intrusion.
The demonstration highlights how Nodal Technologies addresses these threats through network-level visibility, traffic analysis, and active containment. By identifying malicious activity within internal network communications, Nodal can isolate compromised devices, disrupt command-and-control connections, and restrict lateral movement between systems. The objective is to demonstrate how organizations can maintain effective security controls even when an adversary has already obtained legitimate access to their infrastructure.
