Response & Containment
Safely cut off remote control. Contain insider threats.
With automitigation turned on, CyberBrain severs the attacker's command-and-control channel within seconds of highly suspicious behavior, cutting off their ability to command remotely and spread.

The attack won't wait for the meeting.
Machine-speed offense is now the consensus reality across the industry, not a vendor talking point. Exploitation routinely arrives before a patch exists. The fastest observed breakout to lateral movement is four minutes, while a human approval loop takes around forty-five and the attack progresses every six. Defending at the speed of attack, autonomously where necessary, is no longer optional.

How CyberBrain responds to external and insider threats
A graduated response: a safe, time-limited, reversible action that stops the attack, escalating only on evidence, and giving your analysts the time to investigate and remediate.

Trace the attack to its way out
When an internal device starts acting suspiciously, scanning the network or moving laterally, CyberBrain traces the communication back hop by hop to the device at the edge of the network that's talking to the attacker's external host. It scores the chain, with confidence rising when models recognize attack frameworks like Sliver or Cobalt Strike, or remote sessions over SSH or remote desktop.
- 02Block, time-limited
Cut the line, briefly
A high score triggers a short-lived block on that single external connection, applied as a rule on your firewall. The attacker's session times out, cutting off remote control, beaconing and data exfiltration, while internal traffic keeps flowing. If the same activity returns, the block is extended.
- 03Block, time-limited
Verify the consequence of the block
CyberBrain keeps watching the devices involved in the incident ticket. Did the suspicious behavior on these devices stop? Or did a new external host appear with the same behavior pattern, a sign the implant switched to a fallback channel? The ticket tracks the external hosts being blocked. Most tools act and move on. CyberBrain checks whether the response actually worked.
- 04Contain
Escalate with evidence of continued activity
If suspicious activity continues during or shortly after the block, or if the attack chain extends only within the network, CyberBrain's confidence rises and it requests containment. Containment is reserved for threats a block can't stop, like autonomous malware, a rogue AI agent or an insider threat.
- 05Contain
Contain the insider threat
When integrated with the available security controls (microsegmentation, EDR/XDR) or with the Nodal Endpoint Agent, CyberBrain instructs them to identify the process behind the behavior, matched to the network telemetry, and to block internal connections between the compromised system and its peers on the private network. This stops the attack from spreading further until your analysts can remediate.

Governance
You stay in control.
Automatic blocking and containment are each switched on separately, interacting with the available and integrated controls. Every action is time-limited, reversible, and recorded in the ticket with the evidence that triggered it, so your team always knows what CyberBrain did and why.
